Est. 2014 · Small-group expedition travel

The world's
quieter routes, mapped by
hand.

We plot journeys to the ridgelines, dune seas and

fjords the guidebooks skip — led by local fixers, capped

at twelve travellers, and never sold as a package deal.

Why Meridian

Four things we don't
compromise on.

Local fixers, not tour reps

Every route is co-led by someone who

grew up on that ground — not

a rotating guide from head office.

Twelve travellers, never more

Small enough to eat at the same

table as the village we’re passing

through, not around it.

No landmark-hopping

One region, walked slowly, beats

five cities seen through a coach

window. We plan for depth.

Route carbon, offset in full

Every departure fundsreforestation

local to the region it visits

 audited, not outsourced.

Twelve years, one hundred and forty
departures, zero cancelled for lack of care.

Meridian started as a shared notebook between two former cartographers who thought

travel had gotten too easy to sell and too hard to feel. We still keep the notebook.
